Innovative cell therapies for a healthier world
O futuro da medicina regenerativa
Heart failure affects 26 million people worldwide
The costs associated with Heart Failure exceed 100 billion dollars a year
Did you know?
context
Rett syndrome is a genetic disease that has no definitive treatment
Rett Syndrome is a disease of the autistic spectrum
What we do
LizarBio Therapeutics is a startup that develops cell therapies based on pluripotent stem cells. We are currently focused on developing therapies for patients with heart and neurological problems. More specifically, congestive heart failure (CHF) and Rett syndrome. We believe that cell therapy is the future of regenerative medicine.
Pipeline
Currently, LizarBio Therapeutics is focused on solving problems in two specific diseases, namely: Heart Failure through the use of cardiac cells and Rett Syndrome with the use of healthy astrocytes, both of the cells produced in the laboratory. In the future, we plan to expand our operations to other areas such as ophthalmology, endocrinology and etc., always producing authentic human cells on a scale.
